Jim Dixon, Jr.

Jim grew up in Lacombe and moved to Edmonton to obtain degrees in chemical and environmental engineering, and is now the Director of Responsible Care for NOVA Chemicals. Chair of the Lacombe Health Trust since its inception, Jim has been an integral part of this enthusiastic team that has helped fund a number of important enhancements to our local hospital. Jim has also been involved with the Board at the Lacombe Golf & Country Club and helps out wherever possible with his two children's activities and teams.


Corey Gish

A resident of Lacombe since childhood, Corey has a deep-rooted understanding of the concerns of local residents and businesses, and cares deeply about the community. Corey also volunteers for various organizations including Lacombe Ringette, Town of Lacombe- LMC Fundraising chair, Lacombe Athletic Park – Legal support. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce and the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Laws, Corey launched Gish Law Office in downtown Lacombe in 1997. She enjoys a variety of activities such as ringette, skiing, and golf, and is also a busy parent of two wonderful children.


Kelly Treleaven

Kelly has lived in Lacombe since 1993, where he and his wife Shelly raised their 2 children. A former small business owner, Kelly now works as a bank Manager for RBC. He has always been active in the community as a volunteer with the Lacombe Fire Department, Lacombe Kinsmen Club, Lacombe Curling Club and a minor hockey referee. In his free time, Kelly enjoys golf, fishing, camping and curling.

Candace Sawyer

Candace is a BScN, RN at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre, and has spent the past 14 years in Lacombe with her husband Scott Vockeroth and their four children. Candace has served as a volunteer with Lacombe minor soccer, hockey, figure skating, dance studio, and with LHCC Workplace Health & Safety Committee. She also enjoys devoting time to her family. Candace is part of the Health Trust Board to learn and to focus on harmonizing health care needs with our growing community.


Steve Christie

Steve and his wife Cheryl have been residents of Lacombe for the past 20 years and proud parents to 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. He volunteers through church, Rotary, Youth Advisory and as a member of the Lacombe Fire Department, and has been an active part of the community in his roles as Council Member and as Mayor of Lacombe. Currently employed by Scott Builders, Steve's participation with the Lacombe Health Trust reflects his dedication to finding positive ways to make a healthier Lacombe.

Christa Henderson

Christa is originally from Lacombe and benefitted from her participation in many community groups growing up, such as Horse and Beef 4H and the Lacombe Music Festival. After attending Red Deer College for two years, Christa graduated with a B.A./B.Ed. from the University of Lethbridge in 1997 and currently teaches grade 11 and 12 English and Social Studies at the École Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School. In the winter, this busy mom can usually be found in a hockey arena somewhere in Alberta with her two teenage sons. Christa is thankful to have the opportunity to work with Lacombe Health Trust and contribute to her community. 


Angela Law

Angela is a partner at the Lacombe office of MNP Chartered Accountants. Angela grew up in Central Alberta and was raised in Sylvan Lake. She moved to Lacombe in 2006 with her husband Cheyne. They raise their two children in the community and have been involved in minor hockey, ringette, figure skating and dance. Angela enjoys living and doing business in Lacombe, and joined the Lacombe Health Trust Board to give back to the community. She is also the Past-President of the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce. 


Jason Lunn

Jason was born and raised in Lacombe and has been a co-owner of D&M Concrete since 1994. He and his wife Colette have been married for 19 years and have three children, who keep Jason busy coaching and watching ringette, hockey and football. Jason has been an active member of the Lacombe Kinsmen Club as well as vice-president of Lacombe Minor Football, and sees his role at the Lacombe Health Trust as another way to give back to the community.
